Alan Brosnan

Director of Operations

Alan spent twelve years in the New Zealand Army, the last nine being with the Special Air Service (S.A.S.). He served several tours with the counter terrorist team, and finally as assault group commander was responsible for the training and management of all entry team personnel.

In May, 1989, Alan left the Army and was sponsored into the United States as a Subject Matter Expert in the field of counter terrorism.  For two years he worked in Beverly Hills California as a close protection team member. Additionally, he conducted numerous courses for the US Military and Law Enforcement tactical communities. Alan is still active in the dignitary protection field and has performed security details in over twenty countries. 

In 1991, Alan moved to Memphis and established the Tactical Explosive Entry School (TEES). This internationally recognized school conducted specialty classes for military and law enforcement personnel who were tasked to operate in high risk environments. Alan sold TEES in 2005.

From 1992-2007, Alan was a member of the DeSoto County, Mississippi Sheriff’s Department where he held the rank of Captain (reserve status). Operational duties included patrol and SWAT where he acted as an entry man and breacher. Since 1993, Alan has worked as an independent contractor for the U.S. Department of State’s Anti Terrorism Assistance Program that trains foreign law enforcement officers in skills associated with counter terrorism. This training is conducted within the United States and at select locations abroad.

He is now the Director of Operations for Energy and Maritime Security Services (EMSS) where his attention is focused on supporting the Maritime industry at commercial and private levels.

Marc A. Morris

Chief Administrative Officer 

Marc has over 19 years experience as a senior executive in the military/industrial/security field. The majority of that time involved in explosives manufacturing and research at both the engineering and management level. He has a solid reputation in the field of defense contract management having successfully managed a wide variety of military contracts including; new item development, production and accident investigation. 

Marc has an extensive knowledge base and a history of practical experience in navigating through the labyrinth of overlapping and contradictory laws and regulations involved in multi-jurisdictional and multi-national security work involving arms and explosives. 

Marc has overseen security contracts in some of the most demanding environments in the world.  He has a broad base of corporate security operations experience; from providing physical security to fixed base operations in Iraq during the war to serving as a Facility Security Officer safeguarding classified data for a U.S. Department of Defense contractor on the front lines in the international war on terrorism. 

In his capacity as CAO of EMSS Marc is now applying his varied and unique skills to providing cost effective and practical solutions to the security concerns of EMSS's corporate, government and private clients.
